Participant agreement, indemnification, risk assumption, and liability release:
In exchange for the services provided by GOP and its locations, as well as all agents, owners, managers, successors, affiliates, sponsors, landlords, partners, investors, participants, volunteers, employees, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on behalf of the previously named company, collectively referred to as GOP, I hereby agree to release, indemnify, and discharge, on behalf of myself, my spouse, my children, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on behalf of
All Risks Are Assumed and Recognized
By agreeing to the terms and conditions of GOP, whether through the purchase of classes, membership, or by completing the liability waiver form below, you agree that, on my behalf and on behalf of the listed participants under the age of 18 (“minors”), as their parent, legal guardian, or custodian, you knowingly, voluntarily, and freely accept and assume any and all risks, both known and unknown, of injuries or other loss or damage that may be suffered while on GOP. You represent that you have full power as the mentioned minors’ parent or legal guardian.
You agree that you understand that risks cannot be totally avoided without jeopardising the key aspects of the activity, and you expressly agree and commit to accept and assume all risks that are willingly present in these activities. Cuts and bruises, falls, broken bones, injuries to wrists, arms, legs, ankles, backs, heads, and necks, injuries from flips or contact with other participants, spinal injuries and/or death may occur as a result of anyone’s use or misuse of the facility, use of equipment that malfunctions or breaks, and/or improper maintenance of the facility, grounds, or equipment. You also agree to have disclosed these risks to the minors specified. You certify that you and/or the mentioned minors are in good physical condition for the activities in which you and/or they will participate, and that you and/or they do not have any medical conditions that would prevent you and/or them from participating safely.
All Claims Are Waived
You expressly waive any and all claims, suits, or demands for personal injury, property damage, or other loss against GOP, including but not limited to any and all negligence, negligent supervision and/or negligent instruction, faulty equipment, or the activities of others, on your own behalf and on behalf of the listed minors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this waiver is intended to be a complete release of Gym With Me from any and all liability for personal injuries, property damage or loss, or death sustained by me or any of the listed minors while on GOP property, whether arising from or resulting from my or their participation in activities, use of trampolines or other equipment, parking lots, premises, and facilities. This release is binding on the undersigned and minors’ heirs, representatives, and estates for any date in the future, including today’s date, that I or the specified minors attend the GOP facility.
You expressly and voluntarily agree to waive, release, acquit, and forever discharge GOP, as well as to defend, indemnify, and hold GOP harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, injuries, expenses, or death arising out of or resulting from providing or failing to provide medical assistance to me or any of the listed minors. I confirm that I have sufficient insurance to cover any injury or damage that I may inflict or experience while participating, or that I agree to face the costs of such injury or damage myself. I hereby authorise GOP the right to request emergency medical care for myself and/or the named minors in the case GOP deems a situation medically essential, and I agree to pay any and all associated charges.
You acknowledge that you have carefully read this agreement, fully understood its terms, and signed it freely and voluntarily on behalf of yourself and the listed minors as their parent, legal guardian, or legally authorised custodian. You understand that by signing it, you have given up significant rights and agree to be bound by its provisions for yourself and the mentioned minors. If any part of this agreement is deemed to be void or unenforceable under Singapore law, the remainder will continue to be in full force and effect.
The information given will not be shared with third parties for marketing or other purposes. Its sole purpose is to create proof of agreement to the provisions of this waiver.
Behaviour of a Child
Children are expected to follow all Gym With Me club rules and regulations while under the supervision of GOP.
GOP reserves the right to send any attendee home during any class or camp if, in the view of GOP Management, the child is in conflict with the general well-being of the class, camp, or other GOP attendees, or said rules and regulations, due to his or her negligence.
All travel costs would be the attendee’s, parent’s, or guardian’s duty in this scenario, and no refund of fees would be considered.
It is expected that all minors who register for classes and camps will be able to communicate in groups, be away from their parents for an extended period of time, and be potty trained. Parents or guardians are required to drop-off at the beginning of class and pick-up at the end of all GOP sessions and camps for children who are not accompanied by their parents/guardians. If this condition is not met in a reasonable manner, parents or guardians may be charged additional expenses.
Non-participating individuals must wait outside the gymnastics facility during class/training times to enhance the well-being and safety of gymnasts, coaches, and all other individuals.
GOP Management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who does not match these developmental requirements. There will be no refunds for any remaining days booked; any costs related with the exclusion, including transportation home, will be the responsibility of the registrants or parent/guardian.
Policy on the Media
Photographs and videos are frequently used as teaching aids by GOP staff. It is an extremely effective coaching tool that allows kids to track their development and performance analyse tactics while also keeping parents informed of their children’s progress.
GOP Management occasionally uses photos/videos made in classes/camps/programs to highlight our product offering in promotional materials, brochures, and on our website.
GOP Management is committed to the safety of children in our programmes; any media utilised for advertising will portray the company’s success programs/services and our students’ outstanding achievements in a favourable manner.
GOP maintains the right to use any photographs/videos recorded during camps/classes/programs on its website and in future publications with a given media release.
By signing this document, I acknowledge that if anyone is injured or property is damaged as a result of my participation in this activity, a Singapore court of law may find that I have waived my right to sue GOP and its locations on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein. I have had ample time to read and fully comprehend the entirety of this document, and I agree to be legally bound by its provisions.
